A group of Indian women, stranded and helpless in Oman after being lured by the false promises of agents with the hope of employment, have appealed to Indian Ambassador L. Prashant Pise to take immediate steps to repatriate them. Among them are Kola Gangojamma from Sri Sathya Sai district (Andhra Pradesh), Gurujula Kumari from Konaseema district, and Shabana Begum from Hyderabad, along with 140 other women who were deceived after traveling abroad for jobs and have been awaiting assistance to return home.
