Seven-Day Custody for Ravan
Vijayawada: The Gannavaram Court issued orders on Thursday granting police custody of YouTuber Bachalakuri Joseph, alias Ravan, for one week. The Gannavaram police had registered a case under the UAPA against Ravan, alleging that he posted videos on his YouTube channel that undermined the country's integrity. Police had filed a petition seeking 15 days of custody for Ravan, who is currently a remand prisoner in the Nellore Central Jail. The court delivered its verdict on Thursday following the conclusion of arguments from both sides.
