Sexual Harassment of a Girl with Autism
Amaravati: The High Court has delivered a severe blow to Sambasiva Rao, a school principal accused of sexually harassing a 16-year-old girl suffering from autism. The Court set aside the orders issued by a Special Court in Vijayawada, which had previously granted bail to the accused. The High Court criticized the Special POCSO Court for granting bail, noting that there were no significant changes in circumstances between the filing of the first and second bail petitions. The Court explicitly directed the accused to surrender before the concerned court within three days of receiving a copy of the judgment.
