EPS vs. Shanmugam
Chennai: The AIADMK has officially split. Now, the rival factions are at loggerheads. The faction led by senior leader C.V. Shanmugam has officially rebelled against former Chief Minister and party General Secretary Palaniswami (EPS). On Wednesday, 25 MLAs belonging to this faction voted in the Assembly in favor of the Vijay government. Simultaneously, 22 members from Palaniswami's faction voted against it.
