'She Mart': A New Path to Women's Empowerment
In the Union Budget 2026, the government announced the 'She Mart' scheme to empower women as business owners. Through this, women from self-help groups can set up their own retail stores. The objective of this scheme is to provide training and financial support to women so that they can earn an income of more than Rs. 1 lakh per year. They can join local self-help groups, receive skills training, and realize their business dreams through bank loans.
