'Srivari Divya Pavitrotsavams' from the 26th to the 29t
Dwaraka Tirumala: The 'Divya Pavitrotsavams' (sacred purification festival) of the presiding deity, known as 'Chinna Tirumaleshudu,' will be celebrated grandly at the temple for four days, from the evening of the 26th to the 29th of this month. It is a tradition to conduct these rituals annually as an act of atonement for any errors—whether intentional or unintentional—that may have occurred in the temple throughout the year. Officials stated that the festivities would include 'Ankurarpana' (seed-sowing ritual) on the evening of the 26th, 'Pavitradhivasam' on the 27th, 'Pavitraropanam' on the 28th, and would conclude with 'Maha Purnahuti' on the 29th.
