Subsidy for setting up charging stations.. These are the guidelines
The Centre has released guidelines for setting up 72,300 public EV charging stations in the country at a cost of Rs 2,000 crore. Under the PM E-Drive scheme, 100% subsidy will be given for setting up in government offices, hospitals and educational institutions, and 80% subsidy will be given for setting up in railway stations, airports, bus depots, toll plazas and other public places. It has been said that government agencies and public sector enterprises should submit proposals.
