Supreme Court Directs EC to Submit Records
The Supreme Court has issued notices to the Election Commission (EC) regarding a petition alleging that CEC Gyanesh Kumar took unilateral decisions. The Court ordered the submission of records concerning decisions related to Form-6 (voter registration). A petition had been filed challenging the decisions regarding amendments to Form-6 and the electoral rolls; the Apex Court commenced a hearing on this matter today.
