Telangana: A Hub for Nursing
Jasmine Shah, President of the United Nurses Association, stated that while Kerala was once the first place that came to mind regarding trained nurses, Telangana has now emerged as a key destination for the profession. He noted that while many states still recruit nurses on a contract basis, the Telangana government’s move to fill regular positions offers a golden opportunity for the unemployed. He also welcomed the initiative to create overseas job opportunities for nurses through TOMCOM.
