Telangana in the Space Race
Hyderabad: The state government is focusing on the space sector, which is advancing rapidly with innovative technologies. Having previously promoted investments in semiconductors, data centers, GCCs, and the defense sector, the government is now formulating plans to transform Telangana into a hub for space technology. To this end, it has initiated the process of introducing a dedicated ‘Space Policy’ for the state. Reports indicate that the IT Department is preparing to announce this state policy on the occasion of National Space Day, which falls on the 23rd of this month.
