Vijayawada: For the first time in the country, the aerospace startup 'Red Balloon Aerospace' has developed a highly advanced Super Pressure Balloon (SPB). Based in Vijayawada, the company successfully conducted a trial run of its balloon on Wednesday at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium. The balloon was launched into the "near space" region (an altitude of 20–40 km above the Earth). All signals transmitted by the sensors onboard the balloon were successfully monitored and tested from the ground base station.
