Tension During Secretariat Siege!
Hyderabad: A protest to lay siege to the Secretariat, organized by BJP leaders on Thursday to demand the immediate release of fee reimbursement arrears, led to a tense situation. Party State President Ramchander Rao, MP DK Aruna, BJLP leader Eleti Maheshwar Reddy, and other leaders and activists staged a surprise sit-in protest at the Secretariat's South-East Gate. A brief standoff ensued when the police attempted to stop them.
