‘Trap deal’ with America: Kharge
Mallikarjuna Kharge described the trade agreement with America as a ‘trap deal’. He alleged that agreeing to the condition of stopping oil from Russia is a loss of sovereignty for India. He said that agreeing to imports of genetically modified feed and pulses is an irreparable injustice to farmers. He was angry that this agreement is designed to benefit Bangladesh more than India in garment exports.
