UCO Bank Posts ₹656 Crore Profit
UCO Bank announced encouraging results for the first quarter of the current financial year (2026-27), ending in June. The bank's net profit grew by 8 percent to ₹656 crore for the April-June quarter; in the same period last year, the profit stood at ₹607 crore. Total income for the quarter under review also rose from ₹7,433 crore to ₹8,682 crore. UCO Bank MD and CEO Rajendra Kumar Saboo stated that the increase in interest income—rising from ₹6,436 crore to ₹6,996 crore during the quarter—contributed to these results.
