US-Iran Peace Talks to be Hosted by Pakistan?
Reports suggest that Pakistan is set to serve as the venue for de-escalating the tensions currently prevailing between the United States and Iran. Reuters has reported that direct talks between representatives of both nations are likely to take place in Islamabad as early as this week. While US Vice President JD Vance is expected to participate in these discussions on behalf of the United States, it appears that Pakistan—along with Turkey and Egypt—will act as mediators.
