Vasanthotsavams in Tirumala from March 30
The annual 'Salakatla Vasanthotsavams' (Spring Festivals) of Lord Venkateswara are set to be celebrated with great grandeur in Tirumala from March 30 to April 1. For these three days, the TTD has cancelled the Unjal Seva, Arjita Brahmotsavam, and Sahasra Deepalankarana Seva; additionally, the Ashtadala Padapadmaradhana Seva scheduled for the third day has also been cancelled. Every year, these Vasanthotsavams (Spring Festivals) are conducted for the presiding deity on the *tithis* (lunar days) of Chaitra Shuddha Trayodashi, Chaturdashi, and Pournami. As part of these festivities, on the second and third days, the deity is taken in a procession through the Mada Streets.
