Will they create a sensation?
Having gained experience from facing football powerhouse Brazil, India is now gearing up for another challenge. As part of FIFA international friendlies, India is set to face two-time World Cup champions Uruguay on Tuesday. While India managed a 1-1 draw against Panama in Bengaluru, they suffered a crushing 0-4 defeat at the hands of the 'Samba' team. However, taking on Uruguay—ranked 20th globally—will be no easy task for India, currently ranked 138th. Ryan Williams serves as a key striker for India, while Anirudh Thapa has been excelling in the midfield.
