Winning Start for Rayalaseema
The Rayalaseema Zen Stars team got off to a winning start in the opening match of the Women's Andhra Premier League (WAPL). In the match held on Saturday at the Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) stadium in Mangalagiri, the Rayalaseema team defeated the Godavari Golden Eagles. Batting first, Godavari scored 116 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs; Captain Pereira shone with a half-century (63), while Anusha claimed 3 wickets. In the run chase, Rayalaseema reached 120/3 in 17.3 overs to secure the victory.
