28 IAS Officers Appointed to Oversee ‘SIR’
Amaravati: The Election Commission of India has appointed 28 IAS officers as Electoral Roll Observers to oversee the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) program currently underway in the state. State Chief Electoral Officer Vivek Yadav issued orders to this effect on Thursday. These officers are tasked with reviewing the work undertaken by District Election Officers (DEOs) and Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) and ensuring that any errors are rectified in a timely manner.
