Farmers' Massive Tractor Rally
Tobacco farmers in Ongole, Prakasam district, staged a massive protest rally with tractors on Friday. Protests seeking a remunerative price for tobacco have been ongoing for a month under the aegis of the SKM. Farmers and leaders demanded an end to exploitation by traders, a price of ₹36,000 per quintal, and support from both the Central and State governments.
