4,347 new engineering seats
Hyderabad: Additional seats have become available in engineering courses across the state. The government has granted permission for 6,200 extra seats across 60 new private colleges. Of these, 4,347 seats fall under the convener quota. These seats have been made available during the second phase of EAPCET counseling. They include 2,583 seats for courses allied to CSE—such as AI, ML, and DS—and 1,764 seats for core engineering disciplines like Civil, ECE, EEE, and Mechanical Engineering.
