5 percent discount if property tax is paid before April 30
Hyderabad: Those who have paid their annual property tax in the city administrations and municipalities in the state by April 30 will get a 5 percent discount under the ‘Early Bird’ scheme. Municipal Administration Secretary TK Sridevi has given orders to this effect. Jammikunta and Huzurabad municipalities have already collected 100 percent tax, while 10 other municipalities have collected more than 90 percent, officials said. GHMC Commissioner RV Karnan also issued a statement on the Early Bird Scheme.
