Sufficient Crude Oil Reserves for Two Months: Centre
New Delhi: Sujata Sharma, Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum, stated on Wednesday that the country currently holds sufficient crude oil reserves to last for the next two months. She noted that refineries are operating at full capacity, fuel is readily available at retail outlets, and there is no shortage of fuel whatsoever. Referring to international price trends, she pointed out that while the price of a barrel of Brent crude stood at $70 just two months ago, it has now crossed the $100 mark.
