A Disgrace to the Medical Profession!
The Supreme Court has made critical observations regarding the conduct of Dr. Pachipala Namrata (alias Attaluri Namrata), who stands accused as the prime conspirator in the 'Srishti Fertility Center' surrogacy scam. The Court remarked that Namrata's actions were so reprehensible as to bring shame upon civilized society. Furthermore, noting that she had completely disregarded the ethical duties inherent to her profession, the Court stated that it could not grant her any relief. The Bench made these observations while hearing a petition filed by Namrata, in which she contended that her arrest was illegal and sought the quashing of the remand orders.
