Aadhaar Link Mandatory for Cooking Gas Booking
New Delhi: The Central Government announced on Saturday that Aadhaar-based biometric authentication is mandatory for booking cooking gas. It stated that the rule requiring Aadhaar linkage to avail subsidized gas would be strictly enforced starting October 1st. It clarified that those who have already linked their Aadhaar do not need to do so again.
