Amaravati: The trend in engineering education is changing. While there was a demand for core computer science engineering till last year, this year students are unusually leaning towards CSE-Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML). The Higher Education Department, which completed the first phase of counselling for EAPSET admissions on Sunday, has allotted seats to students. Out of 1,51,312 seats in 247 colleges across the state under the convener quota, 1,07,239 seats have been filled. 44,073 seats remain.
