Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan updated his social media profile on Sunday. His profile now reads: "Politburo Member, Communist Party of India (Marxist)." This change in Pinarayi Vijayan's profile has assumed significance, coming just ahead of the vote counting for the Kerala Assembly elections, which is scheduled to take place on the 4th of this month. Pinarayi Vijayan is seeking a third consecutive victory from the Dharmadam constituency. Contesting against him are V.P. Abdul Rashid as the UDF candidate and K. Ranjith as the BJP candidate.
