New Delhi: Job cuts at tech giants such as Meta, Amazon, and others are plunging the lives of thousands of Indian professionals holding H-1B visas into deep uncertainty. According to visa regulations, individuals who lose their jobs have a grace period of only 60 days to legally reside in the United States. Within this timeframe, it is mandatory to either find a new job or change one's visa status. Failure to do so requires the individual to leave the country.
