BJP Plotting to Cause Disruptions on Vote Counting Day: DMK Alleges
Chennai: The ruling DMK party in Tamil Nadu has alleged that the BJP is conspiring to create disruptions at counting centers on the day of the Tamil Nadu Assembly election vote count. The party expressed concern that there is a high probability of large-scale disturbances to law and order. It requested that election officials take measures to safeguard the integrity of the counting process and ensure that no untoward incidents occur. To this effect, DMK Organizing Secretary R.S. Bharathi wrote a letter to the Chief Electoral Officer on Sunday.
