Cheaper Insurance Starting in June?
It appears that zero-commission insurance will become available starting in June on the 'Bima Sugam' portal, developed by the IRDAI. Insurance companies will no longer need to rely on agents; instead, they simply need to pay a fee of just 5–7% to this portal. Consequently, insurance premiums are also likely to decrease. Vehicle insurance is scheduled to launch in June. Furthermore, it is reported that health insurance will become available in August, followed by term insurance plans in September.
