Chinese students reject Musk's offer
Anyone would jump at the chance if they get an offer from world tycoon Elon Musk. But two Chinese students, William Chen and Guan Wang, rejected the multi-million dollar offer from xAI. They impressed Musk by developing the highly capable OpenChat model. However, they did not accept the offer he gave them and succeeded in establishing Sapient Intelligence to create a new AI of their own.
