Kolkata: Local police have arrested Bengal cricketer Abishek Porel in connection with a sexual harassment case. A medical student from Karnataka had lodged a complaint in June against the 23-year-old Porel, who represents the Delhi Capitals in the IPL. In a complaint lodged with the Mogra police in Hooghly, she stated that they had been in a relationship for three years; she alleged that he sexually exploited her under the pretext of marriage, subsequently turned his back on her, and resorted to threats.
