DA Hike for Electricity Employees
Hyderabad: The state government has taken a key decision to increase the Dearness Allowance (DA) for electricity employees by 1.621 percent. Consequently, their DA has risen from 17.651 percent to 19.272 percent. A total of 70,804 personnel and pensioners across power sector organizations will benefit from this hike. This move will impose an additional financial burden of approximately ₹9.35 crore per month on the government. Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka held a meeting with Energy Department officials at Vidyut Soudha on Wednesday.
