Delhi ranks first in crime, Jharkhand ranks first in murders
The national capital Delhi has become the crime capital. According to NCRB data, Delhi tops the list with 1508.9 cases per lakh population. Kerala is at the second position with 721.7 crimes. Jharkhand has 126.6 cases and other states have the same pattern. However, compared to Delhi and Kerala, Jharkhand has more heinous crimes like murders. In terms of murders, Delhi is at 8th place and Kerala is at 22nd place, while Jharkhand is at the first place.
