Detergent and Caustic Soda Found in Dodla Dairy Milk Samples
New Delhi: It has been revealed that milk samples from Dodla Dairy—a brand popular in the Telugu states—contain detergent and caustic soda. This finding was announced by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). A sample of full-cream milk collected from the company’s plant was sent for analysis; it was found not to meet the required standards, and a food analyst certified it as substandard. The company filed an appeal, following which the sample was sent to a referral food laboratory for further testing.
