Hyderabad: Telangana Genco has stated that it meets over one-third (36 percent) of the state's electricity requirements. It noted that out of the current daily power consumption of 325 million units in the state, Genco plants contribute more than 115 million units. It further mentioned that Singareni provides 25 million units and central power generating stations supply 64 million units, while the remaining power is procured from external sources.
