First-ever Ganga Aarti on the banks of the Thames in London
London: Thousands of people attended the Ganga Aarti ceremony held on Sunday on the banks of the River Thames in London. Chinmaya Mission UK organized this event to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Chinmaya Mission's service. Notably, the event was conducted in the same manner as the prestigious Aarti performed on the banks of the River Ganges. Organizers stated that the event was held to honor the spirit of Mother Ganga and to reflect on the traditions, culture, wisdom, and divinity associated with the river.
