Low-Pressure Area Expected Today
Visakhapatnam: A low-pressure area is set to form over the North Bay of Bengal, adjacent to Bangladesh, on Thursday. It is likely to intensify subsequently and move towards North Odisha and West Bengal. The Visakhapatnam Meteorological Department stated that, under its influence, moderate rains are expected across the Coastal and Rayalaseema regions starting Thursday, with isolated heavy rains likely in the North Coastal region. The Disaster Management Authority announced that, over the next three days, North Andhra districts will experience cloudy skies accompanied by gusty winds, lightning, and rain.
