HUDCO Loan for HAM Roads
Efforts by Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy to secure funds for road projects under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM)—managed by the Roads and Buildings (R&B) Department—have succeeded. HUDCO has approved a loan of ₹9,161 crore to the Telangana Road Development Corporation (TGRDC) for these HAM road projects. HUDCO addressed a letter to the TGRDC Managing Director regarding this on Tuesday night. The sanctioned loan carries an interest rate of 9.12% and comes with a repayment period of seventeen and a half years.
