Hyderabad: The TGSRTC has clarified that there are no shortcomings in the implementation of the ‘Mahalakshmi’ scheme or the operation of special buses during the festive season. It stated that the decision regarding ticket pricing—adjusted to manage passenger demand during festivals—is not a new development. In a press release issued on Sunday, the corporation dismissed allegations made by BRS Legislative Party Deputy Leader T. Harish Rao on social media, who claimed that RTC officials were raising ticket prices and cancelling special buses during the festive period.
