Heat Intensity Subsides
Amaravati: The Disaster Management Agency has announced that, influenced by the southeast and southwest winds blowing in the lower troposphere over Andhra Pradesh, the state is likely to experience light rains accompanied by lightning for the next two days. On Thursday, maximum temperatures of 41.7 degrees Celsius were recorded in V.R. Puram (Polavaram district) and 41.3 degrees Celsius in Kommipadu (Nellore district). Meanwhile, rainfall of 21.5 millimeters was recorded in Gamparai (Alluri district), 15.2 mm in Mangalagiri (Guntur district), 13.2 mm in Korumamidi (East Godavari district), and 12 mm in Nallapadu (Guntur Rural).
