Hyderabad: The State Bank of India (SBI) has asserted its claim over five acres of the 6.29-acre land parcel in Raidurgam, which recently fetched a record price of ₹237 crore per acre. The bank has approached the High Court, questioning how the state government could auction land that had previously been sold to them without prior notification. A total of three separate petitions have been filed, including an earlier one seeking to halt the auction. These are scheduled to come up for hearing on Thursday before the bench of Justice NV Shravan Kumar. SBI’s claim that the land belongs to them has caused a stir.
