Impact of War on Indian Exports: Central Commerce Secretary
Central Commerce Secretary Rajesh Agarwal stated that if tensions in West Asia persist at their current level, it will have an adverse impact on India's exports. "Imports have already been affected," he noted. "West Asia is also a significant market; 12–13% of our exports are directed there. The extent of the war's impact on these exports will become clear within two to three weeks. We are making efforts to mitigate difficulties across all sectors," he stated.
