Indiramma Houses for the Poor Within Their Own Constituencies
Hyderabad: State Minister for Revenue, Housing, and Information & Public Relations, Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, stated that the goal of their people's government is to construct 'Indiramma houses' for the poor in the very areas where they currently reside, thereby upholding their self-respect. He clarified that it is not their government's policy to relocate the poor to places 30–40 kilometers away, thereby separating them from their livelihoods. He added that, treating each constituency as a single unit, they are sanctioning Indiramma houses for the poor even in areas where land values range from ₹150 crore to ₹200 crore per acre.
