Rahul is interviewing several leaders for appointments as AICC secretaries. Party sources have indicated that an election management committee is likely to be formed, with Priyanka Vadra expected to be appointed as its chairperson. Reports indicate that the party's national president, Mallikarjun Kharge, will step down after the elections in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Punjab in April.
