Injustice to Tenant Farmers Through Urea Cards
Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh Tenant Farmers' Association has opined that the government is introducing the proposal for urea cards solely to inflict injustice upon tenant farmers. In a statement, the association's President and Secretary—B. Balaram and M. Haribabu, respectively—noted that during a review meeting of the Agriculture Department, the State Agriculture Minister had announced that urea cards would be issued based on 'e-crop' land title passbooks.
