iPads and MacBooks Get Costlier
New Delhi: American tech giant Apple Inc. announced on Thursday that it is raising prices for its iPad and MacBook models, as well as home devices. The revised rates will apply to markets worldwide, including India. In the domestic market, prices have increased by 20% to 42%, depending on the model. Apple attributed this hike to a shortage of memory chips and a sharp rise in their costs, driven by the rapid growth of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology.
