Left Parties Demand Removal of CEC Gyaneshwar
Amaravati: Leaders of Left-wing parties expressed concern that the unilateral decisions taken by Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyaneshwar pose a threat to democracy. Leaders from ten Left parties met at the CPM state office in Vijayawada on Friday to discuss this issue. Subsequently, CPM State Secretary V. Srinivasa Rao, CPI National Executive member Akkineni Vanaja, CPI (ML) New Democracy leader Polari, and MCPI(U) leader Khader Basha spoke to the media.
