Movement to Protect Ramappa
Hyderabad: BRS Working President KTR expressed strong indignation over the proposal to establish an open-cast coal mine near the Ramappa Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. He demanded the immediate withdrawal of the project. KTR warned via 'X' on Monday that, failing this, a massive public movement would be launched to protect Ramappa. He lashed out at the government, stating that after the exploitation of land in the state, the government has now set its sights on mineral wealth.
