New DGP CV Anand
Hyderabad: IPS officer CV Anand of the 1991 batch has been appointed as the new DGP of the state. Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao issued orders to this effect on Tuesday. The order stated that CV Anand is being appointed as a full-fledged DGP as per the UPSC empanel report. The current DGP Shivdhar Reddy will retire on Thursday. CV Anand will take over after that.
